La Montaña que devora a los hombres, Potosí, Bolivia (2008-2011)
El Cerro Rico de Potosí is a vast and desolate territory. People move across piles of stones and leftover ore. They make their way over the mountain daily seeking to earn a living. They live, play, work and die there.
With this project, the artist wanted to show this mountain in a descriptive way, including encounters with miners and mine guardians. Here she proposes a sample of their daily confrontations with devastated nature due to human exploitation.
