UNDERTIDE emerged from a community outreach during an artist residency in Assilah, Morocco. This co-created in-situ Polaroid installation was part of the group exhibition From Here with Love which took place in Assilah, Morocco during the Summer of 2014

Facing the low tide ocean, I stood in awe as krill brushed my fingers. A moment earlier, a boy had poured a handful of small crustaceans in my hands and urged me to run to the beach and release them into the ocean. 

It all had started with a photograph. When I first met that boy, I took his portrait. When I handed it to him, he started rolling in the sand with joy, holding tight to the Polaroid while it was still developing. I could see the spark of discovery in his eyes as the latent image started revealing itself. Speechless revelations
